Thank You for Attending NB Booners Tryouts - Next Steps and Additional Tryout Info
Dear Parents and Players, Thank you for coming out to the NB Booners tryouts! We had a great turnout with 43 players, ages 8 to 13. We will be announcing the selections over the next couple of days. As we make selections and receive commitments from players moving up from 12U to 13U, spots may open. There is a second tryout for 12U and 13U on August 12th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Poplar Grove Lions Park.
We believe NB Booners is a great program to bring competitive baseball home and keep families local.

Our Coaching Staff
At NB Booners Baseball, our coaches are the cornerstone of our program, bringing a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to the field. Each coach is committed to developing young athletes both as players and individuals. Through their expertise and mentorship, our coaches foster a positive and competitive environment that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. They are dedicated to guiding each player toward achieving their full potential, preparing them for success both on and off the field. Our Facilities
At NB Booners Baseball, we utilize top-notch facilities to ensure our players receive the best training experience. During the off-season, we train in District 200 gymnasiums, offering ample space for indoor workouts and dedicated batting cages. In-season, our outdoor practices take place on baseball fields managed by North Boone Youth Baseball (NBYB) and the Poplar Grove, Lions Club. Additionally, we regularly utilize DBats for team training outings, providing a comprehensive environment for skill development and growth. Our facilities are designed to support our athletes year-round, fostering excellence and preparation for high-level competition.

9u - 10u Semi-Travel Programs
9U and 10U Teams
Cost: $600
What's Included:
- Off-Season Training (October - March): Weekly sessions to develop skills and prepare for the season.
- 4 Local Tournaments: Participate in competitive play without extensive travel.
- In-Season Gear: Hat, pants, socks, belt, and two uniforms for games.
- In-Season Weekly Practices: Regular practices to enhance team cohesion and individual skills.
- Weekly BYB Recreational League Games: Engage in local league play for continuous improvement.
- Scheduled Scrimmage Games: Additional practice games to refine strategies and skills.
12u - 13u Local Travel Programs
12U and 13U Teams
Cost: $600
What's Included:
- Off-Season Training (October - March): Weekly sessions to enhance skills and prepare for the season.
- 7 Local Tournaments: Engage in competitive play with minimal travel.
- In-Season Gear: Hat, pants, socks, belt, and two uniforms for games.
- In-Season Weekly Practices: Regular practice sessions to build team dynamics and improve individual performance.
- Scheduled Scrimmage Games: Additional practice games to refine strategies and skills.
- Tentative: One fun out-of-town tournament (Wisconsin Dells or similar)
